Medical Physics Service
The Medical Physics Service provides technical support for the planning
and delivery of radiotherapy treatment at the Yorkshire Centre for Clinical
Oncology and Clinical Haematology by the provision of a comprehensive maintenance
service for the equipment and the production of customised treatment aids.
The Service is committed to maintaining the equipment to the highest
level of reliability and accuracy consistent with the delivery of precision
radiotherapy and to providing a fast efficient fault repair service to
minimise the time that treatment equipment is unavailable for clinical
use.
This policy will be fulfilled through the adoption and implementation
at all times by the Quality Management Systems and Procedures required
by BS EN ISO 9002:1994 and other documented procedures.
